How Is The Crisis Affecting Yemen
More than 4 million people are internally displaced, forced to settle in dry regions where clean water accessibility is scarce. They are forced to walk miles in search of their daily water, whether or not the climate conditions allow them to.
Due to water scarcity, agricultural practices have also been reduced, resulting in food insecurity and a lack of livelihood activities. Around 17.4 million people are in need of food assistance, from which, 2.2 million children are acutely malnourished.
The crisis has also affected the education system of Yemen, leaving more than 2 million children out of school.
What Needs To Be Done
Scot Aid aims to send humanitarian aid to vulnerable families and children in Yemen. While it might take time, your generous donations and our resources can enable them to live a life of dignity and respect. Our collective efforts can help provide food, water, education, and adequate shelter to displaced families and help them survive.
For their betterment, we enable children to get back to school, and provide livelihood opportunities to the youth in Yemen, which is where your kindness will enable us in doing so. So be their hope in this time of need and donate to deliver humanitarian aid for the most vulnerable and needy families in Yemen.
